The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, and the U.S. Department of State in partnership with the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI), organized an IPNDV side event at the 2018 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Preparatory Committee Meeting (PrepCom). IPNDV participants outlined results of Phase I and plans for Phase II to an audience of diplomats and experts in nonproliferation. The event brought together a cross sectoral group interested in understanding potential solutions to the challenges of future nuclear disarmament verification.
