Fast neutron interrogation systems measure gamma emissions from neutron activity. During the dismantlement of a nuclear weapon, this technology can be used to determine specific chemical properties of High Explosives (HE) present in the object. In other words, it can identify the HE. This technology collects proliferation sensitive information and requires the use of an information barrier.
